Laurence Lau tells SOD about how much he enjoyed his six months on ATWT. This chapter in the story has Brian's role coming to a close, but according to Chis Goutman, the door may not be closed with Brian's character. So, it sounds like there is possibility that Brian could be back in Oakdale again at some point.

Van tells SOW that Brian is in a really bad place after Lucinda kicked him out. Brian feels like his whole life has been a lie and doesn't really know what is happening to him. Brian goes to Java and tells Noah that he's going to end it all. This concerns Noah enough that he calls Luke and the both go to Brian's hotel room and discover that he has a bottle of pills and fear that he may try to take his own life. Neither Luke nor Noah are upset at Brian at this point, they are just trying to help him. They convince Lucinda to talk to Brian and while she doesn't forgive him, she reassures him that everything will be okay. Brian and Lucinda are able to get things out on the table and have some really good scenes.

Van adds that Luke has definitely turned over a new leaf. He says that Luke will continue to be up to no good, but not in a terribly destructive way like he has been previously with all the drinking and everything.
