You really want them to expand the scope of these DUI/license/registration/insur­ance/drugs/illegal firearms/tickets... to also include citizen status? You think that would make them better? What did I tell you about lapdog media? That means they do what the cops TELL them what to do!

The press is not SUPPOSED to "cooperate with police," they are supposed to DOCUMENT their actions!

@SovereignStatesman Very well said. Imagine how many stories that might reflect poorly on the police the media let pass.

I can cite one example: In Chicago there is a rampant scam going on with parking. Walk anywhere downtown and you'll see tons of cars with FOP tags and handicapped placards. They park for free all day every day, no tickets. Everyone else pays hundreds to park downtown. The press could do a great expose' but they ignore it, part of the privileged class.

@GlobalCop Glad to hear it. I have no problem with immigration checkpoints. At the borders! But all these increasing so called "immigration" checkpoints throughout the country 90 miles from the ocean are nothing but training for us to give up our rights and accept a police state.
