Just fixed the same problem with mine. Turned out to be a dry joint on one of the LCD cables.
NB Can you use hi hat with 1.1?

1) Try changing cristal by another same value (20Mhz), small encapsulate is better. 2) Change cristal's capacitors, try two of 15 pF or two of 27 pF. Good Luck. Thank me diegobeatle at gmail.
