I tried this with two of the Maxwell super caps that are the size of coke cans. I used USB hardware to transfer power, and turned a desk lamp into a super cap powered joule thief LED light. The super caps are suspended in a pelican case. I use a radio shack 5V regulator to regulate the voltage coming from one of my large solar panels. It takes a long time to charge these things up. I am not getting 9 hours out of mine. I'm using a replacement LED for the large three D cell mag lights though

...ahem.... I/we had a "Dan Quayle" moment....
Back to the sketch:
And if the ducks were NOT HAPPY with this abuse?
Would that be "Foul Fowler Power" or "Fowl Foul Power" or "Foul Fowl Power" or "Fouler Fowl Power"?
Lidmotor , Great vid, where i can get a voltage regulator to connect to a solar charger?
Thank you

Yeah sleep? What sleep? This reminds me of those early days on the Imhotep project. This Joule Thief circuit really has me busy.

Lid, get some of those glass-alcohol ducks that dip their beaks into the water. Foul Power man! lol
Peace out.

I figured out a way to make the ducks produce electricity. Wrap their butts with wire and wave em by a magnet. LOL. Instead of "flower power"-- would that be "Fouler Power"???
