Times Square Ad: NYC Pot Busts

The NORML Foundation will debut its second-ever digital ad Tuesday, April 20, on the CBS Super Screen in New York Citys Times Square. The animated billboard advertisement highlights the dramatic increase in New York Citys rate of marijuana possession arrests, which increased from fewer than 1,000 annually in 1992 to more than 46,000 in 2009.

@jgraz42 You can smoke as much weed in one sitting as you want, and you can't get higher, you hit a "ceiling". There were couple of times where after drinking a lot (my birthday is unfortunately close to Chistmas and New Year's Eve), where my brother or my friends dragged me into bed, and I wake up with no memory of how i got there in the first place. There's less stories of the stoned stepfather, but MANY stories about the violently drunk stepfather.

We need to De Criminalize it not legalize it. So many of you dont understand if we legalize it the government has ALL the control over the last free market we have. You think there hard on small growers now, just wait because if it is legal they are going to start to check up's on EVERYONE because they will want there cut.

The small grower is who will lose out, it is the big corporate grows like OAKSTERDAM & yes PHILLIP MORRIS has already purchased 50k acres here in HUMBOLDT.
