  • What a "Fair & Balanced" interview with a former Bush flunky... that couldn't have been any easier of a softball.

  • Wow! She was bushy's Press Secretary. I bet he fucked her!! Because he should have fired her and cheney but you you have to keep dad happy!!

  • Palin gave him a D whilst I think Obama gave her an "

  • I am not against making changes, it is just that what is currently proposed is not a good solution. It is clearly designed to take over everything. While I wouldn't really be for it, I wouldn't be vehiamently against a program for the poor or the young not yet making good money that you MUST qualify for. Most of my patients fall into that category. The free market needs to be the dominant force. You don't need to be penalized with higher premiums to pay for my old A@#. That is what is proposed.

  • true, i agree.

  • And, myself, I have lived in the USA(where I was born), Great Briton and Norway I would say I am far happier in a social system and it is not as inefficiant as the USA media would have you believe. I have never once been in a situation where I was left waiting for hours or denied treatment. The longest I waited for a Doctor in the USA was 40minutes and the longest I waited in GB was 50. In Norway I waited 3omin max. I recently got the H1N1 vaccine "free" but I know full rightly I payed for it.

  • If you and me pool money together, we pay less than if we individually bought it ourselves with more money left over for other things. I happily have money left over for vacations abroad about 4 times a year. I pay my taxes just like the rest of the people in Norway and so can benefit from a socialised system as much as the person next to me can. I dont see how that is being lazy.

  • You didn't address my agrument at all but rather went to address another. Overall I am looking for my own self interest and it benefits me to have you healthy. It benefits me to know if you get ill you will be treated reduce say spread of infection. I personally live in the Norway. I chose to live here for a number of reasons. One of them being the high standard of living. I and everyone else put the effort into paying our taxes to collectively get shit done with minimal stress.

  • You are aware gov programs are much worse about not covering things. I have worked in the system for 18 yrs. The gov run programs are really bad. Treatments are delayed, sometimes many months. I understand where you are coming from The gov just can't pull it off. Not to mention it gives them tremendous control over your life. You know what you need better than the gov does. I am not saying we dont need changes but 1 size fits all gov programs are extreamly inefficient and poor at meeting needs

  • But i do agree that alot of people are stupid enough to get into an accident and expect the gov to save their stupid selves. That is why capitalism is half \ half. They make you pay some taxes for public services for you and the poor who are not so lucky to get a high chance for a big paying job. It is debatable but If there were no taxes at all to support the poor then you and i wouldn't be able to get a chance for a high paying job or any opportunities

    whatsoever. minorities cant afford HC
