  • The idea is great, but I think it's also worth mentioning that sometimes the same chord in a different position will have a different tone, and that should also be taken into consideration.

    The way I'd do it, is that as long as I can change fast enough from any position to the other in a certain progression, I'd prioritise tone over movement efficiency.

  • @avielp Sure, this is just to get your eyes and fingers used to finding the closest possible positions and learning them properly. Once you have the skills, it's up to you how you want to use them! :)

  • I havn't even watched it yet, but I must comment that the lighting in this video is quite pleasent (especially compare to your video about anchoring) is that sunlight from the window?

  • @avielp Aye, the Irish winter sunlight isn't very reliable though. ;)
