  • Yo dude i gotta great question for you,do the brushed OR brushless systems ever become power dependent? Let me explain,i have a xl5 stock with a 12t titan 550. Its a nearly brand new motor, when i first ran it on my 7c pack,"brand new traxxas powercell" it would go pretty fast and wheelie good, now ever since i built a 8C pack,it will go around 35 or more and wheelie like crazy, but when i switch back to my 7c its pretty slow and wont wheelie.

  • @NitroDog19 the stock brushed motors suck. brushes are a thing of the past and for good reason. i don't think that the motor is "power dependent". switching between the 2 different batteries should not have any effect. i've gone through 2 of the stock motors in 1 week. Armatures breaking etc. switch to the brushless. you'll get more speed and torque with the same batteries compared to the brushed motor. my 2 cents

  • do you have to use hump packs or will it accept 7 cell sticks too

  • @RCFANATIC1996 youve gotta use a hump pack, unless you mod the tray

  • what is ur gearing lol?

  • all stock gearing

  • @ruddugger Whoops my bad about the double post, youtube screws up too much when i post off my iphone. But yeah man i completly understand what you mean,i actually just burned out my spare titan 550 today actually lol,i should have my 3S kit hopefully tomorrow, have u evee had any problems with brushless?

  • @therccarkid it will go about 40-45 mph. havent clocked it with radar or anything, but much faster than the stock motor with a 6 cell.

  • @ruddugger dang, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to buy hump packs when I got my pede. now I have it and I just run lipos.
