Ok Sure, everyone can go on complaining about it "harsh"... However, I just thought it was one artist's interpretation of a devilishly difficult piece. I personally enjoyed all of it
David Garrett is a beginner when it comes to musical mastery. Technically, I applaud him for his very virtuosic playing. In this is the problem however, david garrett is someone who focuses ONLY on the technical difficulty. Sure it's harder technically to play that faster and faster, but can you do the same thing musically? I would never buy a recording of him.
"Anyone else find his playing harsh? " No it's just you scrub, not all of us have hardons for dry technical playing. You probably call it rack and ruin devil music and techno gives you aneurysms rite
I find it harsh. He seems to throw his bow around when playing. I know what richochet is. that part is fine in terms of sound quality. In terms of phrasing, not so much. 1:51 could almost be mess. I already mentioned the fuzzy fake harmonics. His playing is all about dry technical playing. That's exactly what I'm criticizing here. The lack of musical mastery.
werq34ac: are you fuckin deaf brah? this is the greatest thing ive ever heard, plus you arent the one with the three million dollar Strad from the 1700's so piss off and leave Dave alone.

And techno is quite boring if you ask me.
