What became of the stars/actors/actresses of this series? Did they not end up in Hollywood? They certainly should have. But is there a dubbed-into-English version available? Hardly. And what became of Hans Juergen Schatz who played, I think, Wilfried in HEIMAT: Series One?I can find NOTHING about him in English on the net!!

j'aime bien cette serie qui meriterait de repasser a la television

j'ai adore le striptease d'hermann a 14 ans et la scene ou il se fait masturber par ses cousines

la derniere partie apres la reunification m'a paru moins interessante

@deepenhancer Hai ragione, riguardo alla pesantezza, ma come tutte le cose buone anche se pesanti, vanno assaporate lentamente e a più riprese. L'ultima parte è di una bellezza così folle da rasentare l'allucinazione. Non è tanto diversa dalla realtà di questi ultimi venti anni (caduta del muro e tutto il resto) dopotutto...

@kolozs3 Grazie per il suggerimento. L'eccessiva lunghezza e la "pesantezza" dell'opera di Reitz (secondo me lui è il Proust del cinema del novecento) mi mettono un po' in soggezione, ma proverò a superare queste titubanze e mi metterò all'opera...

mettendo anche il nome del regista, tipo 'Edgar Reitz Heimat2 Torrent' - Niente sottotitoli in Italiano, ma ci sono quelli in inglese. Vale comunque la pena, ritengo si tratti, almeno tra le serie televisive, di un capolavoro.
