@scarli100 you have to have the fader on cut so when u slide the crossfader the sound comes louder and quicker ideal for scratching..

Hey ! I mix with the idj2 and when I try to do the transformer scratch it wont work. Everytime I fade into the other track and I come back the scratch doesnt sound.

I just got the iDJ2...and wanted to know if you need some type of power amp to connect it to those speakers? since the cables for my Bose speakers are too big and dont fit directly to the iDJ2.

@SkyArtistMuse... hey those speakers are active speakers so i just plug the out put to them and works like a charm....

excellent job... im thinkin bout buying the idj2 for myself do yu recomended? and if so wat is its pros & cons ..... and anyother question can yu put ne other form of media via the usb in the back and would it appear on the lcd screen ?

Pros: cheap!! :D, very easy to work with, you can beat mix with your eyes closed :)
Cons: for just 399$ none,
you cannot play any thing on the display other than the software that runs in it.

How long did it take you to learn how to use it? I DJ many years ago and now my son wants to get into it, but before i got mad buying equipment i think this could be a good starting point. He's just 14, so I want to see how serious he's. Thank you and good job!

Thank you!! i was a DJ for a long time too. but now im doing it just as a hobby. this is as easy as it comes but you will need to teach him the basics of beat mixing and stuff. you can even sort songs by the BPM's and beat mixing is very easy so for him to start off the IDJ2 will be very helpful and its a good price comparing to some of the players out in the market.
