this is toooo Cute! I have locs myself and had always wondered if I would loc my children up. I love all your vids. How old did you start her locs off? Did she have an opinion or have any clue? How does she respond now that she's old enough to understand different hairstyles?

@mzdames Thank you :-) She wanted them and I thought it was a good idea. She loves her hair. She's a self confident young lady and fits in fine. She doesn't feel "different" because she has locks. It's just a part of her. I started her locks 3 months before her 6th birthday. She's 9 now.

awww, she's so pretty! Love her loc's also... I want to start my son's loc's... he's two! Do you think it's too early? he has a head full of curly hair! His hair in the back turn's to dread's naturally after a few days, lol.... I really loves loc's! I am a newly natural myself.

@nika92686 I would wait another year only because hair changes so much with little ones. His hair may get thicker then you would have to make more locks and it won't look as uniform...but if you think his hair is as thick and full as it's going to be then do it :-)
