how do you sharpen your aluminum and copper tips i just started knapping and its one of my problems haha sorry it should be common sense,

I usually remove the copper rod from the handle and pound it to a square point with a hammer on an anvil. Then I file it as needed until it is too blunt again, then re-hammer it again. One piece of copper can last many years.....jim

Yes, I usually use an optivisor for really small points because my vision is not what it use to be. When I was younger I would not have needed it....jim

it looks beautiful!!! I love how the gray gradients from dark to light at the tip. I have always wanted to get into flint knapping.

Flintknapping is a great hobby, but beware it can be addictive!
