This week on Kamikaze Cookery, we investigate whether celebrity chef recipes are actually usable and useful to normal people. Paul tests Jamie Oliver's "Pici Con Ragu", from Jamie's Italy, which includes making pasta from scratch - will it work? Will it fail? Will they end up with a lot of dough stuck to a skewer?

  • You guys rule

  • @WhatIAm99 Thanks :)

  • lol @ "commercially sized pans". any normal kitchen has a pan bigger than that of yours. that would be the smallest in my kitchen.

  • @ricardobeat I'm guessing you're either not in our demographic or not in our country, then. Those are about average for Edinburgh flats.

  • Oh guys, looks like you've never ever cooked lol. Like know how much water you need to cook pasta is a basic basic basic thing.

  • It doesn't take ages... you are simply too slow to do it... You need practice, practice, practice....

Don't expect to get it on your first time, because you won't...

  • Hey guys,

you´re a little bit to slow! I did the Picis too more than 2 Pounds in less then one hour. But in one thing you´re right. The recipe could be better. I improved it my way!
