Jesus said that those who love him do the will of the Father. If you want to please God you must do his will. I asked Jesus what is the father's will. And the Lord said to me, he said that the fathers will is to obey and follow me. And I was alerted to the verse in the bible, he said that "this is the fathers will, the work of man is to believe in the one whom he sent" Jesus Christ. When you believe in Jesus Christ you follow and obey all he does. The heavenly father spoke from heaven when JEsus was being baptised. He said "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear him" When we hear Jesus, we listen for his voice and we obey him, we are doing the will of the father. Those who do the will of the father will inherit the kingdom of God. The father sent Jesus Christ his son to die for your sins that if you accept him, obey him and follow him, you shall be saved. For that is the will of the father and all that is required from you. Jesus and God the father are one. They are not independent of each other. What Jesus spoke on earth came from the father because Jesus is the word of God, come in the flesh to redeem mankind. If you want to please God, the only way you can please him is to do his will. And his will is to believe in Jesus and believe means that you will follow him and you will obey him in all you do. For even the devil believes in Jesus. But it doesn't profit him anything because he doesn't follow nor obey Jesus. He is at enmity to God. True belief and saving faith is to obey and follow Jesus Christ. Let us not be like the devil dear friends, and believe in Jesus yet go on in practicing sin and disobeying God in all we do. Let us do the will of the father which is true belief and true faith in Jesus which is shown through obedience to the ways of Christ and his words. Listen and obey him then you will be fulfilling the will of the father.

  • John 14:15 - If you love Me, keep My commandments!

Revelation 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

  • Thanks for the message.

  • Amen brother. Obedience to Jesus and to follow Him every step of the way until the end. He is the Narrow Door and He will allow us entrance into Heaven or refuse us. Jesus bless you and your family and keep you all safe. We love you and pray for you.

  • Good, keep it up.

  • This is truth. I give it a Thumbs up :-)

  • i like your point that even the devil believes in God...that is a very good point to make; i also believe we must obey God if we truly believe and keep striving to repent and obey Him

  • Amen!

  • Because if Jesus was the creator as the Right Arm of God in the OT then maybe he was the ONE who met with Abraham, wrestled with Jacob, appeared to Moses in the bush, lead them as a pillar of fire and a cloud. Could it be that Jesus has always done the "work" of the Fathers mind?

  • Jesus and God the father are ONE 1:57 their not independant of one another what Jesus spoke on earth came from the Father because Jesus is the WORD of God.

So IF Jesus is the WORD OF GOD this does not mean only the NT but the WORD given to Moses also as he clearly states in John 5:46-47. Right?
