i had this done 3 weeks ago ...had a 2b1 fixed with a plate and 7 screws .....6 screws in plate 1 screw to hold loose bone ......how long before i heal and can put stress back on it ....

thank you, surgery went well, scottsdale medical center, anesthesiologists are good..... they get the party started, wheel you to the OR, I made joke about filling a cavity while i'm under, and................. i woke up in recovery...........

recovery going well, gets better every day, they say full range of motion in a few weeks.......... ski season,

if you are getting this surgery, don't freak out, it's very common, and these people know what they are doing....

getting this surgery next week, will let you know how it all goes down, and recovery,

i'm 49, been playing hockey, skiing and mountain biking for years, was long overdue for some kind of crash & some kind of injury.....

i'm lucky, didnt hit head, didnt blow out a knee, clavicle is broken clean apart.........

was biking fast down a hill, got to bottom, sharp right turn, and bike just slid out, next moment you're bouncing on the ground, and thinking "ok......here we go........"
