  • AA/Oxford Groups. NEITHER of these movements is just an oppressive regime, 'brainwashing' and bilking the innocent. Both movements point to very real problems in society, and both offer solutions plausible to many. In both movements, long-term affiliation is voluntary, though exposure and early indoctrination is often coerced. The Oxford Groups was only one of MANY protofascist movements in the U.S. in the 1930s, and AA is only one of many such movements today.

  • Bill was a saint,God bless AA,,

  • What a disgusting human being.

  • @kevinfirstnamefinn why are you so angry

  • Burn in hell Bill W you piece of shit excuse for a human being. Someone should have slit your throat when you were passed out on the john back in the 20s.

  • Rot in hell you sick son of a bitch and don't ever come back. What a worthless excuse for a human being.

  • what a deuchebag.

  • Thank god you're dead Dr Bob.

  • "maybe those AA people were right"

  • Isn't it ironic God chose a Proctologist to help Bill co-found Alcoholics Anonymous?

  • I have been going to AA for months. The first month I was drinking after every AA meeting. Then the day came when I messed up real bad. Soon after my drinking progressed and I then had a feeling like no other. I needed to be helped, give everything to another person. I went to detox. After those five days I knew I had a life besides drinking. I have been sober for 39 days and have been to a meeting almost everyday. I owe this to my Higher Power which I choose to call God. I owe a lot to AA.
