tarps purchased at home depot or kmart typically aren't the quality needed for skis and snowboards. plus, we recommend a carpet approach to the wedge ramp for the snowgel, then using heavy duty tarps for the landing.

so, even if you don't have much of a slope putting a little like, ramp (really small) before the turf the snowgel will give enough speed?

you would need a drop-in platform about 4-5 feet tall to get the necessary speed to hit a wedge ramp to a jib a rail, box or bench.
although, if you visit the website below there is a new bungee launch system that you can use on flat surfaces, without the need for a drop-in.
