Wow, aaaand i missed muzzling the dog while i was in camp too...ggggrrr, new save time it looks like!
-
also the dwarves living in a giant under ground city well pretty much every fantasy involving dwarves has that (except for the elder scrolls) same with elves and forests and especially bows
-
they do include alot of things from lotr like alistair lost heir to a throne aragorn they even have a belt called andruil as in the river andruil or andruil the sword or narsil what ever you want to call it
-
If you want an ok lord of the rings game, you could try lotro. The graphics arent nearly as good as this, but they are passible, plus it has a ton of players
-
I love this game. Anyways there is a lord of the rings reference in this game. In a random battle on the field, you can get into a battle with two shades. Upon looting them, you receive a note that reads, "I knew we should have taken the fly eagles." Considering there is no such thing in this game, it is a clear reference to the flying eagles of LOTR. There are other references, but I don't want to make this super long.

@Allasara
i hate how newbies to RPG's like you accuse games of copying lord of the rings, just because they're fantasy you instantly relate them to lord of the rings. fantasy and folk tale has been around for hundreds of years
