  • I've never seen the legendary Ashford and Simpson in concert, thank God I was able to see the late great Phyllis Hyman in concert. I've got to get to New York to see the legendary Valerie, the great love of Nick's life. Pray for Valerie because today 8/26/11 is her birthday and I'm sure it's not easy after celebrating almost 50 years with her husband. It's good to know that God will be her comfort and strength, not just today but for the rest of her life.
