Tremendous voice and guitar. No high- gain amplifiers or screwing around---just the real soulful blues from the heart as opposed to all the blues-lite out there now.

now i know E CLAPTON is a white OTIS RUSH i can hear a great likeness in the voice and guitar i just found OTIS i love this guy .with your eyes closed at times some of his words sound like CLAPTON this great raw beutiful music i can feel it .hats off to OTIS. WOW

just so sick of eric clapton stevie ray vaughan, gary moore, hell, even b b king (yes, as groundbreaking and phenominal as he is) thrown around as the only names of blues music. true, they are all great. what about my buddies that never get a nod? otis rush is my king of the blues. other no names like rory gallagher, freddy king, and jeff healey, complete with total blindness, are ones that i'd rather listen to then the main stream. wish the world would look a deeper.
