This is a song I wrote a while back and it was next on my list. I have a bunch of my own songs I will be posting on here whenever I have time to sit down. Just so happens that I had some time this morning. I recorded this live as you see it, but I added some backup vocals and little guitar before I rendered the video. I hope you like it. I'm making it available for free download, so check back if you liked it.

This is one of those story type of songs you'll only hear in folk or country. It's like a love song/story song about advice your grandparents or great grandparents give you. Sometimes the advice is unwanted, sometimes you see the wisdom and ask for it. Then, sometimes the advice you get is something that is so simple and basic you think that it can't possibly be that simple, but maybe it really is. This is the advice that my Grandma gave me. - Kiss her hello, kiss her goodnight, and always kiss her goodbye.
