There are about 3 million members of the Jesus is Lord Movement, a religious organization led by Bro. Eddie Villanueva. Unlike other religious groups, the members apparently do not strictly practice block vote". Based on the 2004 Presidential Elections when Villanueva ran for President, he only garnered almost 2 million votes. But this does not discourage the religious leader neither does his low ratings in the surveys. These do not mean anything to him because as far as he believes, God wants him to run for president.


In his interview in Kandidato, Bro. Eddie admits he lied to his wife once. In his platform of government, he says the Ombudsman will become an anti-corruption Czar. He believes that in the current system, the Ombudsman is useless because of massive corruption in almost all government offices. When asked if there is truth to the rumors that an estafa case is filed against him, Bro. Eddie readily admits that he has a standing warrant of arrest and alleges that it is the doing of the First Gentleman.

What kind of a President will a religious man make? If he wins the elections, will Filipinos find the answer to all of their problems?

Humigit-kumulang 3 milyon ang miyembro ng Jesus is Lord Movement---isang konggregasyong pinamumunuan ni Bro. Eddie. Pero kaiba sa ibang religious organization, mukhang hindi raw istrikto ang block vote sa JIL dahil noong 2004 Presidential Elections, 2 milyon lang ang botong nakuha niya sa buong Pilipinas. Ngayon 2010, sumasabak ulit sa karera sa pagkapangulo ang lider ng JIL at kahit na nahuhuli sa survey, ayon sa kaniya, siya raw ang hinirang ng Diyos na tumakbo bilang Pangulo ng Pilipinas.

Sa pagkilatis sa kaniya ng Kandidato, inamin ni Bro. Eddie na minsan na raw siyang nakapagsinungaling sa kaniyang misis. At sa kaniyang plataporma, nakasaad na para labanan ang korapsyon, gagawin daw niyang anti-corruption czar ang ombudsman dahil sa ngayon, sa kaniyang palagay, inutil daw ang mga umupo sa puwestong ito. Inamin din ni Bro. Eddie na may standing warrant of arrest sa kaniya at buhay na buhay ang kasong estafa --- pero ito daw ay walang basehang kaso dahil pakana lang daw ito ng Malacanang. Katunayan, kasama si First Gentleman Mike Arroyo sa mga nagdemanda.

Ano nga ba ang plano ng langit para sa lider ng JIL na si Bro. Eddie Villanueva? Sakaling palarin siya at maupo sa palasyo ng Malacanang, maging anong uri kaya siya ng lider?

kya nga mayroon tayung division. ofcourse i agree with eddie for his courage, may nagawa nmn talga xa, actually masmarami pa xa nagawa kaysa kay Noynoy. ofcourse i did my research. I'm sorry to tell for the noynoy fans that noynoy never had any key achievements or awards, he never posted a Law, he made 8 bills (correct me if i'm wrong) but non of them made it as a law. About Eddie, Government is different from religion. Hnd tinatanggap sa debates ang religion,kc iba.Results and facts are needed.
