This is by far one of the best short films I've ever seen. I saw it like a year ago in a film festival in my city. Was crazy to see it again. Thanks for the uploading and many congrats to the director

Responsibility ≠ Blame. Responsibility would say that you have helped to contribute to the matter in some way, no matter how small - which she clearly has by going. Blame recognizes, however, that some action of yours has DIRECTLY CAUSED a problem.

You're going back to this 'good intentions' thing; how things SHOULD work. Regardless of what either one of us thinks SHOULD be the case, it ISN'T the case. To pretend otherwise is foolhardy and, as demonstrated, will have consequences.

I have at no point condoned rape, I have merely pointed out that the world does not work on good fucking intentions and rainbow dust like you seem to want it to. There is absolutely no doubt at all that rape wouldn't happen nearly as much if people weren't as stupid as the girl in this video.

Also, why do you level that argument as though I've even BEGAN to talk about the justifice system and punishment? I'll have you know my standards on it are probably a lot tougher than yours.

I refuse to accept that anyone does not understand the consequences of mixing drugs with alcohol at a party with many older and unfamiliar men. What I am telling you is that the 'victim', on some level, has to be held responsible for the choices they make. Is a homeowner not at least SOMEWHAT responsible for being burgled if he leaves his front door open? Are bank staff not SOMEWHAT responsible for being robbed if they keep the vault unlocked?
