  • Awesome vocals from Steve. Perfect, as usual. He's so versatile, just incredible. Thanks for this, love it. Bx

  • Guys, in my opinion we should just be grateful someone under 50 is still playing this music. I was afraid it would be forgotten in the backwash for the 100th iteration of Lady GaGa.

  • That was embarrassing.

  • @spitfirefrench Not sure you can call it a cover when one of the performers is a member of the original band, Jon Lord, vocalists performing to his arrangement. And performing it fantastically too in my opinion

  • No one bitches about an orchestra playing always the same Mozart stuff, why should we bitch about lack of originality in a great singer taking on a great version of such a legendary rock masterpiece? I must have missed something...

  • @Dogboy27712 , but this is just another 'classic' rock cover... No originality here either...

  • ooooooo,jesus,Ian where is?

  • I know this song is awesome but nobody can perform it as good as the old deep purple band did, they sing it better. nice try

  • Thank you for uploading this - I loved it. I hope one day to be able to hear Steve live, but clips like this are wonderful in the meantime.

  • omg i didn know hw sang this! wow amazing :D x

  • Ok,..I'm turning into a fan here.I'm going from one video of Steve to another, and so on,..and.man,can this guy sing. Oh,and to DogBoy,..Sweety,..never fear that will happen.Great music will always stick around.Just look at the Wizard of Oz! HeeHee! How many people since 1939 still sing those songs(in their hearts anyway),and still make sure their kids see the movie,..just so it wont get lost.Just an example of how music sticks around if it's worth keeping. And most real music is in the end.

  • I love Deep Purple but this is Wow!! Great voice!
