Various folks around the internets were complaining about needing various tools to pull the Ocean battery out. As long as you get you're pulling at the proper point, it should easily slip out with nothing but a fingernail (even a short one!).

  • waoooohhhhhhh

  • thank you thank you thank you

  • a butter knife works great.

  • Geeze, I've had my phone for 6 months and this is the first time I've gotten the battery out! It is easy once you know how though. And as a response to RockNRoLL198705, this is definitely not my only problems I have with the ocean =/ I'm really wanting a new phone already!

  • cool.. i got it... its so hard to take out the battery..

  • AWESOME! I got it out after watching this!!!

A common problem (I'm sure other posters here are having) is that you DO NOT pull the whole tab down, you must push it up and get your fingernail between the tab and battery. Thank you so so much for recording yourself doing this!!!!

  • Thanks dude, this helped a lot!

  • yea this didnt help me either, that battery is in there snug lol. I eventually got it out using a pair of tweezers, holding the tab back and jamming the tweezers in and prying it out. Thats the only problems ive had with the phone though so ill take that over anything else lol

  • not that easy

  • no. only thru helio. sorry
