Oak Island Money Pit Mystery

I recently learned about Oak Island and after having failed to find a newer account of this mystery on YT, I decided to provide it here for the purpose of commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching and scholarship. This brief segment was cut from a History channel series called "ancient aliens" ( http://www.history.com/shows/ancient-aliens ).
Not mentioned here, is that some progress has been made, one core drill revealed small fragments of gold that look as if they had come from chain mail armor but further down there is a plate of iron.
Whatever was buried there, one thing is certain, the design of the pit is amazing.

@Cpowers1990 It's not a problem digging. It's a groundwater hydrology problem. Sure you can dig that deep, but can you dig that deep underwater? The only way they could have done it would have been to use an elaborate pumping and plumbing system to pump out the water. The argument is that they then used that water and plumbing system to create an elaborate vault... Regardless of who built it, it was far far more advanced that anything they should have been able to do. Your argument is invalid.
