LOL people hating the car they wish they could have, SRT-4 was name best bang for your buck by caranddriver and with little money you have a car that can keep with the big dogs. I got an SRT-4 and sticking with a few bolt ons and is a great inexpensive toy sitting in my garage

I believe the SRT-4 motor was a clone from the DSM 4g63 motor found in later 2nd gen. eclipses. I don't like Neons, but have respect for SRT's.

99-04 GT< 03-05 Srt-4 I like mustangs and the srt one is just plane faster than the other especially when traction is not an issue its just plane power to weight. Calm down ford owners that is why ford made mach1s, cobras,05 and up gt s shake it off you lost move on. It was the fastest car for the money and yes i drive a Mustang.

i have a slightly modded srt-4 and i run 12's at the 1/4, actually last time i went to the drag strip i beat me a cobra..late 90s era. my gf had a 00 gt..guess what..it didnt stand a chance and it had an exhaust and cai and udp's....mustangs are slow..reality..they are slow!..mustang cobras and rare and gts are rare..blah blah..reality..they are not..i drive a mustang..reaility..so does every other doushebag that can get a 5-10 grand..loan with parents as a co signer..lol
