  • FUCK YOU Carmack !!! He did not let go Rge for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

  • And, yeah, Rage failed.

  • @123456cephiro this means you are gay. Not actual gay, but a potential gay.

You just need someone to push you to it. :P

  • @123456cephiro that's what you call being a Geek

  • SUCK IT UNREAL 3!

  • This tech looked impressive in 2007. When RAGE released in late 2011, the tech looks last gen, compared to newer engines, like Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine. Cmon Carmack, get your mojo back man!

  • I remember watching this back when it happened... what happened??? Where's RAGE for my mac???

  • @EpicHotCheese You realise why right? They had to use at least 5 different compression methods to stick 1 TB of resources onto a 25gb disk. The popup textures are due to there not being enough power in the consoles GPU to pull the texture out of the page files quick enough

  • Fuck you John Carmack, PC version of RAGE was broken like a piece of shit and you blame Nvidia and AMD/ATi for your mistake. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 suffers from horrible texture pop in. You spent 5 years developing a piece of broken shit. I will never buy your product again.

  • @LgndryThndr Yeah, but then came Epic with their Unreal Engine, and they dominated the market of engines ever since.

Id tech is going to have hard times battling this giant. (Crytech failed horribly) I really wish them much success (to both id and epic). Some of the last studios that keep cooking nothing but high quality stuff.
