Classic ATI training. People used to use blanket time, where children were allegedly smacked for not staying on the blanket or for crying. There were also claims of children being neglected, on the blanket for hours.

This woman is a genius. Praise God for Michelle Duggar!

It is abuse because they use "correction" (ie hitting) if the child does not be still. They follow Micheal Peal's To Train Up a Child. They used to have links to his book on their website.

@FitnessMinded No kidding! So many parents I know are so afraid of their kids. they are afraid to say no to them too.

I love how she does all the actions for it, like she would with her children at the beginning.

Sounds like scientology to me.
Abuse??? Really?? Wow. What sheltered lives you must lead. teaching your children to control themselves is a huge benefit to them for the rest of their lives.

How is a game of sitting still for 5 minutes abusive or horrible? Come on people. Really?
