I almost alway start my set with a Tarzan yell, it wakes up thae audience and helps relieve my tension and nerves. Been doing it for years if the venue is right. This set was at 11:00 at night and had already been 4 hours long. Folks were pretty tired. There were folks still to come on after me. I started with having the audience get up and stretch.
