Or could an argument be made that telescopes, being mono-gendered, are homosexual by necessity?

This makes no sense at all. Telescopes have no sex characteristics, so they cannot have gender-based sexual preference with regards to their own species. The premise of this song fails on a very fundamental level.
That being said, I suppose it makes some sense from an anthropocentric point of view, in that telescopes when mature are somewhat phallic in shape. From this perspective, any dualotelescopic attraction could be perceived as 'gay' in essence.

Telescopes allow the ordinary person to determine what is and what is not. Quit frankly I don't know why I am responding to this video. Perhaps you will come to understand and realize something bigger and better than you if you were actually willing to try.
