  • I have a quick question. I currently own a wacom intuos4 SMALL tablet, and I had it for about a year, and its been a fun ride using it, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the larger size. but I've also considered getting a cintiq (if I find the cash of course). the biggest issue i had with my intuos4 small was because of the small work size and my screen ratio, my outlining would be kinda jittery. the work area on this is much larger, but is there any hinderance using this as compared to the 21ux?

  • @DylanDecepticon I really enjoyed using this tablet but after a couple of weeks I started wishing I had saved up and got the 21UX the 12WX is nice but you do run into some jittery areas around the border of the tablet, best to keep the drawing area centered in the screen. If you can't afford the 21UX then get this one, you won't regret it. But if you CAN afford the 21UX the you will regret not buying it, make sense?

  • What type of computer was it hooked up to?

  • @NathanielOfLight My '08 MacBook

  • Hi man im just thinking of buy one of these, can you tell me how you find animating with it im a classical animator pen n paper and i want to get one of these to do it on the computer instead how do you find animating with it ?

  • @Regna I've never done much classic animating but once you learn the layout and program the keys I think you will find using it a big plus. The table surface is as close to drawing on paper that I have seen and the software really speeds up the animation process. Don't buy it just because I say so though. That's just my opinion.

  • Hi

I have one question, how portable is it? Can you for example have it in your lap while sitting on the sofa?

  • How's the pressure sensitivity on it?

  • do these have to be hooded up to a computer to draw?

  • Do you have to have the tablet connected to a computer to draw in programs or can you draw like on the go?

  • Hey I was just wondering if you could recommend a touchscreen monitor that I can use for similar things. The Cintiq is a little pricy for my needs. I can barely afford it, if there are any alternatives that may not be as effective but are cheaper, I'd like to know.

I'd appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

  • @FranksTechHelp k, cool. Have you used a wacom bamboo fun? and if so how does the precision on the cintiq compare to that?
