@MrDrummerPenguin Ok, he was a deist. He believed a mind created the universe, but not a personal god, or even a god that knew we existed, he just did not know that this universe popped into existence out of nothing, as we know today. Anything that happened before the big bang, could not effect what happened afterwords.
actually SasukeKunDesu God gives us the freedom to choose what we will do just as a Father gives freedom to his children. I understand your confusion and realize this: god did not create robots but rather the Creator created creative creatures who can also create the future of the world. God doesn't want evil to happen but man chooses evil to happen and ignores God.
Funny. I feel like I was the professor in this video. So, speaking on behalf of that professor, if God didn't create evil, why does God select when and when not to interfere with evil as Christians claim (i.e. miracles)? Why doesn't he just interfere in all evil? Wouldn't it make him evil for doing that? Also, if God always forgives, why is there a need for hell?
@needicecream100 no he wasnt, he was born into a Jewish family and went to a Catholic Elementary school in Germany, he never later on became an atheist either, he was once agnostic though
