Eversion walkthrough - level 7 (2/2)

A quick revisit to this level - if you've been wondering how to get to the real final level, now you know (everse right at the start, underneath the gem counter - can only be done after getting all the gems).

Okay, I've gotten all the gems on this level, but don't you have to go back to the main menu afterwards, so that it knows you have all the gems? How do you go back to the menu? it still says I have 194/240 gems :/

@OZoneGrl Just close the game and open it again, it automatically saves every time you pick up a gem. The Esc key might do the trick too, I forgot.

How did you get that background on level 7? It must not be the gems, because I got all of those already

If you have all the gems, you have to evert right at the start, under the gem counter.

I was thinking the same thing about how quickly the game turns into a creepy freakshow, but then I realized I probably should have seen it coming after the HP Lovecraft quote at the beginning.

There is another way to get to level 8, just use the last enemy to jump OVER the flag, keep walking to the right, you will get the level finished thingie.

I got to level 8 that way, thanks for showing me what happens when you get all gems, just went in again to see that :)

i have the current version of the game (not hd), and it glitched. i have 274/274 gems, but i can't evert to level 7-8. any ideas why?

No, I agree with pichuoxys. I made it to the end and never actually found it scary. You can always jump on the heads of enemies and kill them regardless of how beastly become, so there is never any true sense of increasing threat even if the hazards become more hazardous. I also laughed when I saw the fake ending, and laughed more heartily when I finally got to see the real ending.

It's a good concept though.

that is a LIE. I don't know if you've actually played this or not, but this game actually made me nervous while playing it. I jumped when it closed on its own... I freaked out at the hands, I was almost sweating when I discovered the layer 8 portal... I just was afraid of what could possibly be worse than hell itself...
