Depressing :(

I see where you're going with your analysis but i have always thought (and also seem to remember Powerfinger saying this at the time) that the song really is about the resistible rise of Pauline Hanson and the scourge of racism being whipped up at the time (at that time in the 90s it was anti-asian racism)
Either way/either analysis, still is a great song off a fantastic album (the best powderfinger album in my opinion)
(hope this came across friendly as it was meant to!)

best song ever about anti globalization.
dont know if Bernard had it in his mind at the time but the lyrics ring even truer today with the mass vaccinations and depopulation agenda..
Vision is rejected, The people's choice is tested
So ignorance has won
Children are infected, Remedy suggested
Don't drink from poison cup
Overpopulation, media sensations
The damage has been done

Who's behind the MArshall stack?
how did the ABC get away with it?
"Who'S behind the moderately priced, yet well known music peripheral component stack" doesn't have the same ring....
