The Silicon Valley's PBS affiliate let Doctor Who fans take control of the studio for three nights of amazing costumes, fabulous props and deadly menaces. The top vote-getters of KTEH's "How Who Are You?" video competition were Bob Mitsch, Aubrey West and Van Donovan.

In the first segment, they introduce themselves and play their winning video: "45 Years and Beyond." Filmed at the Gallifrey One convention in Los Angeles, the video features sonic screwdrivers, trusty umbrellas, psychic paper and... ten, count 'em, TEN DOCTORS!

In the second segment, the Doctors discuss the history of the sonic screwdriver and show us replicas of every design that was used in the classic series, TV movie and new series of Doctor Who.

In the next video, the Doctors defend KTEH from cyber-conversion!

  • @dizzydaisygal Why are you talking about the crappy Peter Cushing Films? But theres a few comventions for Doctor who.

  • @Dim4323 its always being destroyed and re built at various points, we know, no need to repeat yourself.

  • Unfotunally the 9/10 Sonic Scredriver was distory and new one was invented by the 11th Doctor and good thing about it its has a Trigger that use to scan things and the Doctor can look at the readings

  • I'm English. Been a fan since I was about four, cowering behind the sofa at the web of fear!! You're all mad but you're FANTASTIC!!

  • but the 9th/10th sonic Screwdriver was distoryed in the Eleventh hour and a new one came this time instead of lighting it out Blue it went green and it Extends so that the 11th doctor can find out the readings.

  • OMG! I'm watching this from San Jose State University...;w; Too bad I didn't know about this special at the time.

  • I love how the other doctors had all of these well made proffesional props and then the 6th doctor pulls out a toy.

  • @TaraWheeler Your Tardis is Amazing!

  • This is quite cute, and you guys did a great job. I wish they'd let us show the original run of the shows again, because it'd get people up to date with some of the things from the original run - including some monsters in present day.

  • i am so ashamed! I had no idea that there was a convention for Dr. Who! :(
