nicks p.o.v
i was about to say something when the police man cut me off.
"No. im not going to take you away from your boyfriend."Jeanettes eyes got big and she pulled away from me and turned extremely red.
"were not going out." she said looking down.
"Were best friends." i said makeing Jeanette's face turn back to normal.
"Oh it's just the way you two look at each other...never mind. back to the situation. Now um Jeanette you can stay with your...friend here. But do you have another parent or any relatives?..." Jeanette hugged me again.
"well i have a mom...but she just left when i was around 5 years old. my grandparents died a while ago and my cousins and aunts hate me."
"oh...well we have to track down your mom and see if she wants you. if she does then you have to go to court and the judge will decide if you stay with your friend or you mom."
"Please dont make me live with my mom!"
"I'm sorry but those are the rules. I mean unless she doesnt want you...." his voice faded and he stopped.
"She probably doesnt." i heard her whisper i ignored it
"Can Jeanette leave now?" i asked because this guy was making Jeanette cry. and i felt like punching him!
"Yes." i picked up Jeanettes bag and then took her hand and lead her down stairs. we were walking down the street when Jeanette stopped. i turned around and i saw that she looked...angry? sad?
"Jeanette whats wrong?"
"What if my mom really DOESNT want me?" i laughed acting like she's an idiot which we both know she's not.
"Who wouldnt want you to be their daughter?! You're WONDERFUL!!" Jeanette smiled and then kissed my cheek. i felt sparks go through my body. i smiled and we continued walking. We got to my house and Joe and Kevin ran up to jeanette and they both gave her big bear hugs.
"What happened?!" i looked at Joe with a shut up look. Kevin saw so he changed the subject.
"We will have tuns of fun now that you are living here!" Jeanette smiled.
"Thanks. i'm really tierd so i think im gonna turn in."
Jeanette's P.O.V
i turned to Nick
"were am i staying?" Nick looked at him brothers and then looked at me. a smile creeped on his face.
"With me...atleast untill my parents come home from their trip in about two weeks. then they will fix up Frankies old nursery for you" i smiled i headed upstairs with my bag and dropped it on the floor. i dug out some pajamas and then went into Nick's bathroom and changed when i came out i saw Nick sitting on the end of his bed deep in thought.
"Nick?"i asked sitting down next to him
"Are you okay?"
Nick's P.O.V
i was thinking about if i should tell Jeanette that i like her. or wait till things arent really all weird. Jeanette came in and asked if i was okay. i turned my head and looked at her.
"Yeah i was just thinking."
"About what?" i froze
"About where im going to sleep." i lied. she looked at with a weird face then looked around the room. there were no couches just a bed a desk a chair and other regular room stuff like a tv and a closet.
"well..." her face lit up
"You could always sleep with me on the bed? it will be like old times!?" i looked at her and smiled.
"okay." i had a smallish bed so we would be close to each other which i didnt mind. Thats all i ever really wanted was for Jeanette to be here in my arms. Jeanette layed on the bed with her back to the wall. i got in and layed faceing her. we drifted to sleep next to each other having great dreams.
*Next morn*
(still nick's pov)
i woke up with my arm around Jeanettes waist and Jeanette head was rested on my chest. i didnt want to wake her so i just layed there and watched her sleep.
Jeanettes P.O.V
i woke up in Nick's arms nothing more a girl could ever dream of. i looked up and saw Nick starring at me. i blushed a dark red and hid my face.
"No need to be embarrassed." i looked up at him.
Nicks pov
"You look beautiful when you sleep...oh i mean!" Crap! did i just say that out loud!
"and You dont look half bad either." Jeanette said with a smile
"thanks...Hey! Are you saying im hot and ugly?! it's a hot or ugly question!"
"You look..cute." Jeanette said with another smile. she propped herself up with her elbows then let her self fall she looked over at me.
"I cant get up." i shot up and panicked.
"What do you mean you cant get up!?" Jeanette looked at me and started to laugh she sat up and calmed herself down.
"i meant that i didnt want to. but thanks for being so concerned." she hugged me then crawled over my legs and got out of bed.
"I'm hungry."
"I'm going to take a shower first i will see you down stairs."
Jeanettes P.O.V
"Okay." she smiled then walked down stairs shuffling her feet. i ate alot because i was really hungry. i put my plate in the sink then went upstairs. i opened the door and stood their in a daze.
