Did I scare you? I LOVE him. The scene in 'Defending your Life' where they show him 27 mistakes -he brushes his teeth with shampoo, etc. is the funniest thing I've ever seen. G-d bless and protect Albert Brooks.
It's easy to criticize true Cinematic Comedy Pioneers 30 years later. Except for Brooks. He is timeless. Just like Steve Martin, Carl Reiner & Mel Brooks.
@sarah2001 I think, sadly, the madness, and thus the quality of his films has tailed off. The first two were the best, IMO. And Defending Your Life was very good, but Mother? And the Sharon Stone one whose name escapes me? Disappointing.
