I think this is a BAM Magazine (Bay Area Music) awards. Was a big music magazine throughout California for about 20 years. Now gone. Like the band....

I'm so glad I was introduced to this band's music at a young age. I was born after Spilt Milk was released, and I've been listening to it since I was 8 or 9. It's definitely the most important album to me. I have a connection with his music that I can't describe.

I thought I would mention - I saw them in Atlanta where none of the keys would work, tech tried for some 3 hours, nothing happen - so eventually they started without at close to mindnight on Tuesday night or something...still it was magic with just guitars and harmonies! Probably one of the finest live performances I have ever seen!

Spilt Milk is by far one of my favorite albums! Bellybutton is awesome as well. Back in the day these guys had a huge cult following.
