TSO - Chloe Gets Emotional Singing "After The Fall" (4/2/11)

"After The Fall" performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on April 2, 2011 at the Kellog Arena in Battle Creek, MI. For reasons unknown, Chloe gets a little worked up in the middle, but comes back and finishes strong. (It's a little hard to see from this angle, but when Al comes up the first time, he holds her hand and continues playing the chords on his guitar with his other hand. True talent and professionalism!)

Originally recorded and performed by Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the Beethoven's Last Night album (Lava Records, 2000).

I was there and i thought it was part of the show until i meet Chloe and she told me it wasn't. This is probably the coolest thing i have ever seen at a concert.

I saw this show and she was unbelievably great. Filled with real emotion. At first I think everyone thought it was part of show. But the way everyone in the band supported her was so classy. The entire show was great but that might have been my favorite moment. TSO a band that shows individuals at their best as artist and human beings.

@MStang747 I thought it was part of the act right up until I checked the Berlin version on YouTube when I got home. The way she came back and finished it, it almost sounded like it was planned (and very well-executed, I might add).

I love how after Chloe composed herself, she stepped back up to the mic and proceeded to blow the back wall out of the arena!!

This is perfect proof at what great talented and genuine people TSO really are; the way they all support her when she stops, the way Al goes straight to her as if he knows she is struggling with her emotions, and the way the band slow down but without faltering in a way that is so professional you could hardly tell it wasn't deliberate: I don't think i have ever seen a band or singers that truly feel their own songs so much & support their own family of people with such style and grace.

@BabySaloma Wasting her talent in one of the biggest touring bands in the country, and one of the greatest bands in the world. Never mind that with really limited airplay, they have a slew of platinum albums. Yes, such a waste.

Note when Al walks up to her it appears as if he is asking her if she is okay and she sort of nods her head, then he hugs her. I think something happened in her life that while singing the song, it got to her. I know this song always pulls at my heart. Very nice of Al to come out and help her through. :) TSO/Savatage are the best.

@jimmywacked That "for the last time" line is part of the story, so they say that every night. Besides that, this was on April 2nd and she finished out the tour, so it couldn't have been her last night.
