  • 99.99% of the singers treat this piece as a coloratura showoff. But not our dear Ceci. This thing is about joy, about happiness, about praising the Lord who created us. I thinks she hits the spot.

  • Cecilija je KRALJICA!!! BRAVO!!!

  • que mujer

  • Mi diva...

  • i love her smile ---such a warm smile after singing! its very infectious! i like artists who can not take themselves too seriously... they are singing for goodness sake!:-)

  • I know I'll get daggers for this...but. I thought it was terrible, her singing/coloratura is nothing but tension, you can both see it and hear it in her voice. It was screamed practically, with unnecessarily modified vowels in the middle voice. I know three people who have seen her, they said she had to have a mic because they couldn't hear her past the fifth row. That's not true resonance. I believe she's a pushed down soprano. This is harsh, but I'm being honest. Sorry guys.

  • me encanta!............excelente Cecilia!...felicidades!

  • @coopandre Because in Italian like in Latin the JA in "halleluJA" sound similar to American YEAH.

    Simple

Problably you often listen not Italian Singer to sing Italian/latin libretti.

    Bye

  • @lalagonegaga She does! I just love how the runs resonate with meaning! How it stays true to the word "Alleluia!"

  • @Arkelk2010 I agree!

  • Such joy in her singing--kind of infectious.

  • @lalagonegaga Well, I feel most people treat it that way because coloratura is not a common part of many people's operatic training anymore. So instead of it being used as a vehicle for a specific emotion set, it is used as a "look what I can do" issue. This is why all of my students learn agility early and often.
