I think the haters are just reacting to the (over)use of the word 'prodigy'. America has pretty low standards! What passes for 'prodigy' here is laughable compared to Europe (Jimmy Rosenberg, Bireli Lagrene) and Asia (Yuto Miyazawa, Sangha Jung).

people love the blues, they love jazz, kid, just keep doing what you love, enjoy life as a kid, dont give up

psh.. 3 hours a day? thats nothing! cliff burton (metallica's 1st bassist) use 2 play 6 hours a day! hahah jk thats awesome dude, keep rocking kid

Don't worry. he gonna be alright. And the rest of the haters...oh well. Sucks to be you, I guess. Practice harder and love what you do and maybe success will come to you. Or not...

@shredmaster195 Better than you. Man, dont make me strap my schecter on and come to wherever you are and take you down. I dont even play guitar primarily Im a bassist/Vocalist. But Im quite sure I could bring down the shred master!

Oh my god, what a crock of shit. They break out some dusty old law to get the kid off stage! I hope he becomes super huge. Not hanna Montana style but The Rolling Stones style!
-
I want to see that kid with a slide on his finger.

if my band wanted to play in a bar then we would get kicked out, why should this kid get too and not us?
-
Technically, you started it, I'm just finishing it. Kid rocks, you suck, go die.
He's 8 years old FFS! What were you doing at eight? Picking your nose and dressing up dolls I suppose.
He's a natural talent that should be supported, not subjected to jealous diatribe like yours. OPEN your eyes.
