Rebound Trailer

Rebound is the story of a boy, Edward, dealing with the break-up from his lying, cheating ex-girlfriend who broke his heart and left him in a state of severe depression. After nine months living as a shell of his former self, he meets a new girl, Sophie, who tries to turn his life around.

Rebound is the first film I have made in well over a year, the last being Dirge of the Dead which was finished in mid-July 2008. The story is heavily influenced by events in my own life as well as people I have known in my life. The film itself aims to be a comedy/drama, in the same vain as something like Skins, with a lot of dark comedy. A lot of the comedy in the film comes from my own self parody.

Rebound was finished on 2nd October 2009 and I plan to premiere the entire film (which is 22 minutes, 55 seconds) at my local school on the 8th October, then upload the entire film to YouTube, as well as all the bloopers and out-takes. I'll probably write a more in-depth synopsis of the film once I upload the entire thing. For the moment, please just enjoy this trailer I quickly put together.
