Very cool disco music with a huge energetic beginning. Candido was actually a Cuban percussionist who moved to New York in the early 50's he was mostly into Jazz but also made some disco musics in the 70's like Thousand Finger man and Dancin' and Prancin'.

There are still antidisco people who doing their best against disco musics since the seventies. To let people know that disco never sucks and it's not dead there are groups who are making disco musics and interested in it. Radio stations are still playing disco musics proudly there are dozens of online disco/ dance classics radio stations.

We all different, some people preffer disco music some others like rock music. It's not worthing too act silly and writting out disco sucks or making labels like "Disco Sucks". It's a foolish act!
I'm saying these because i got comments that was really arrogant, rude and no any respect because i'm showing disco musics.

Check out my other videos and no any bad comment accepted!!

  • I'd call 'house music' disco made with drum machines. What an awsome synth intro this song has.

  • @qtel67 Yes in disco musics the congos the big addition that really makes the one to move.. house musics came much later.. Thanks its intro is really energetic.

  • Yes a perfect music with great sounding. Nice to hear that !! Thanks for the comment:D

  • Awesomeness. 1979 . This track is historic in laying the foundation for "House".

It was perfect mixture of jazzfunk, disco and tribal beats all rolled into one sweetly hypnotic blend of dancing ecstasy. Thanks to David Mancuso and all the dancers at the Loft who took this track to another level. "Love Saves the Day".

  • @pluggedin2u Yeah i call this short of musics protohouse musics. It's really obvious on its sounding and the beginning !! :D

  • ah! Candido´s brilliant. In Spanish language it means Cándido. This is what disco-funk.co.uk say about him:"Latin percussionist Candido was already succesful in the 1960's on the Bluenote label. Signing to New York's Salsoul disco label in 1978 yielded two great disco-jazz albums, the first of which includes the all-time disco classics "Thousand finger man", "Jingo" and "Dancin' and prancin'". The LP "Candi's funk" also includes "Samba funk" (released on 12")."
