Here is a short video about the launch of Atlantis (STS-129) as seen from downtown Orlando, Florida. Originally I intended to shoot this from Lake Estelle Park which is a great location. However, things don't always go as planned and I had to shoot elsewhere.
It was a beautiful November day and 80F out. Just right for a shuttle launch!

Great video Kerry, yes even in personal or professional coverage, we get things that are 'beyond our control!' Live from your doctors parking lot! Laugh riot! THat's the best OB location so far :)

wow, really informative. And I can't believe after only 5 more mission, NO more shuttles. I'll never see it live. :0( It was interesting to see the launch the way you showed it. Never seen a take off like that on video before. Great Video.
