Neil and I had a great time together and I give my opinion about how one of my viewers can fix a condensate drain problem.

  • Okay so you are an angel.........we had a leak in the AC closet and thankfully l picked up on this due to my accute hearing. I was driving my husband nuts telling him that l could hear this dripping in the AC unit. Not to give up on anything l came on here and found your video....wow you should have seen the pipe gush after l cleared the outside of it. Thanks for saving us a fortune...maybe my husband will thank us both some day....me for my determination and you for video.

  • oh boy.. this is all wrong.

  • i hope u r not ac tech u dont even no what u doing here

  • The picture looks like a Moblie home unit, the coil is above the heating high voltage elements and blower, it needs a really big trap because its a high static or pressure blower!! (my money is on a coleman unit), they should keep a deep P trap inside and cut in a tee above it for cleaning like in your video, I have seen outdoor p traps freeze when they are deep because the water dosent evap. before winter! But it depends on your climate!!

  • @ibunregistered Yes, but it will refill quickly.

  • @DrZarkloff

If you vacuum the trap dry, won't it will suck cold air into the system or blow hot air out whenever the air handler runs for heat?

  • And Also Electrical....
