the prevailing theory now is that a rather quick process - over decades - of sand or mud or whatever covered these up.....not a massive tsunami. Although there are still some who prefer the tsunami-quake theory. I lean towards the slower process one, however...

More like Crust Upheaval and erosion that unearthed the trees. The Tsunamis are just a symptom of Plate Tectonics. What was once 15 feet in elevation immediately dropped undersea level now the dead forest is rising back to it's original elevation hinting that another Great Earthquake is due to arrive.

Fuck...I can't believe a group of people actually made a show about the Oregon coast. Holy hell. I live on the Oregon coast..and it's boring as shit. We have the ocean..woohoo
