what happens if you end up with the numbers of cards between the red kings equalling, eg 7, and there being 7 cards from the king of spades to the end of the pack?

@gerdin100 Since when magician only perform their own tricks? Most magician often perform trick done by others, otherwise would he or she be performing over thousands of different tricks? That isn't called copying, it's a performance, the trick name is stated, it didn't said he created it, he is performing it.

Couple of extra tips for this:
1. You can give the pack false shuffles before starting.
2. Give the pack with the 9s and 10s to the spectator to hold, hence giving them an assurance that there will be no weird sleight of hand and the cards are as they were.
3. Allow the spectator to deal out cards ad stop wherever they want, you just count what they are doing.
4. After revealing the 9/10, turn over the next card to show that its indifferent and show the previous card, this amazes them further.
