  • this guy really didnt say much... lol...

  • The tyre is designed with the whole car in mind...a great reason to stick with the OEM tires. When considering the amount of tire brands and differences between brands, trying to find 'the best' tire for the car you have might not happen because by the time you have test only a small selection of tires, you will be getting a new vehicle. It also goes to mention that as your search for 'the best' occurs, the changes in suspension, steering etc will impact on the results of your tire.

  • advan s4 is a snow tire my ass both these guys went nowwhere fast weak sauce

  • @urbex2007 And that's why he's hired at Yokohama=>because he's talking shit all the time and you are sitting at your desk, because you're an Einstein when it comes to tyre design.

  • @glk001 I was amazed he said the tyre fitted to the Bentley wasn't a performance tyre- I know for a fact Bentley do NOT use Yokohama tyres! He lies. He doesn't even know the difference between treads and doesn't know how to explain the difference. He is nothing but a misinformed sales person. I have never heard so much rubbish about tyre design!

  • I don't think is what a good representation either...He sounds more like a salesman with limited knowledge of the industry rather than a Yoko representative that knew what he was talking about...Sales pitch, nothing more...Oh and all season tires are NOT snow tires... Can have the agressive tread design in the world, but it's the soft compound that makes a snow tire...

  • I disagree. That was a poor representation for Yokohama. The Yoko rep never mentioned elimination of resonance, sidewall stiffness or rubber composition. The "biting edge" term he used is the tire holding ice inside the grooves because ice-ice contact provides more traction than rubber-ice contact, and this was alluded to by the Streetfire guy. The Yoko did say a lot of "uh" and "ya know," for what ever that's worth.

  • i do more than 20k in 3months
